DAYTONA, USA – RSR started the season with a bang; showing up a day late for the Roar and then proceeding to top the time sheets in their first practice session.
Morley ran a 1:58.041 in his Audi RS 3 TCR, which his team will tell you is definitely the slowest car in the field. By the end of the Roar, he nearly topped the overall time sheets, but missed out by 0.037; finishing behind Victor Gonzalez in a Honda (which his team will tell you is definitely the slowest car in the field).
Ernstone also had strong return to Daytona, recording the 11th best time of the 25 TCR drivers present and putting in a load of quick and consistent laps. Clearly, the car is running great and the team is confident they’ll be fighting for the win this Friday.
Practice sessions and qualifying will be available on live timing and the race will stream live on Peacock at 1:35 ET.
