LAS VEGAS, NV – Road Shagger Racing will return in their familiar Audi RS 3 LMS TCR for their fifth IMPC campaign with an unchanged driver lineup. Gavin Ernstone and Jon Morley will run the first generation RS 3 at Daytona and then switch to their brand-new second generation RS 3 at Sebring.
After experiencing their first winless season in IMPC last year, Road Shagger Racing will be making one other key change when they switch to the new car.
The team ran multiple liveries in 2022 due to the unavailability of their trademark “Road Shagger Blue” wrap, no doubt sold out globally as a result of their status as motorsport influencers. It was clear to them however, that those new liveries were a total disaster and the direct cause of their worst season ever. The team is confident that putting their classic look on their new car will take them all the way to the championship.
“Not winning sucks. I can’t wait to try the new car. It’s proven itself in Europe and I know it’s going to put us right back up at the front of the field. Also… it looks badass.” – Jon Morley
“Losing is a load of bollocks.” – Gavin Ernstone
