LEXINGTON, OH – The team is hoping this weekend’s race will be a turning point, after a mystery issue severely hampered their efforts in the first two races of the season. The issue was never completely solved, but with a brand new engine in the car, everyone is optimistic the car will run strongly this weekend.

Gavin Ernstone will be making his first visit to Mid-Ohio, as is is the case with most of the tracks this year. Jon Morley is originally from Ohio and raced at the track quite a few times in the late 90’s and early 00’s. Morley will be stopping in Vegas on the way to Ohio to work with Ernstone on his simulator to help him learn the track and prepare for the weekend.

The Mid-Ohio 120 is two hours long and has one planned pit stop. Ernstone will qualify the Simply Vegas Audi and race the first hour, before coming in for fuel and handing over driving duties to Morley. The driver change and refueling should take about 45 seconds.
The race begins Saturday, May 11th at 1:45 PM EDT. There are plenty of options if you want to follow Roadshagger Racing’s progress through the field!
