LAGUNA SECA, CA – At long last, there’s finally a new surface at Laguna Seca and the Road Shagger crew is hoping it will be just as kind to them as the old surface was when they hit the track May 11th for the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca 120.
Laguna has historically been one of the team’s best tracks, dating back to 2019 when they took their first series victory there.
“I drove the new surface a few months ago in a Ferrari Challenge car,” said Morley. “It’s still Laguna, just faster. I love it!”
The season has gotten off to a rocky start for the team, but thanks to salvaging a 9th and a 5th, they still sit 5th in the Championship. With all the bad luck firmly out of the way, big things are on order for Laguna, so tune in on Peacock to watch the race live!
